Details- Dwarf Koren Lilac is an excellent shrub to use for foundation plantings. The large, fragrant, flower clusters emerge in mid-May. This lilac blooms for several weeks. In the fall the foliage turns dark red to purple after the first frost.

Pruning-  Pruning should be done shortly after the plant is done blooming. Though this plant can withstand heavy pruning, not more than 1/3 of the plant should be removed at one time. Pruning late in the year or early spring will reduce the plants ability to flower.
