CAMBRIDGE SCARLET BEE BALM is a Monarda perennial. This variety of Bee balm has mildew resistant foliage. The foliage is dark green and contrasts the bright-red flower well. Flower petals on the bee balm are long, slender and form a beak at the tip. This plant flowers in mid-summer producing puffy flower balls. Other varieties can reach 4 feet tall while this Bee balm will just get a little over 2 foot tall. Works great for cut flowers. This plant is deer resistant.
