Walkers Low Catmint is spring bloomer.  This Catmint variety blooms all the way up to the first frost in the fall.  The flowers of this plant type are light blue to lavender in color.  Foliage on this plant is minty-green in color, giving the variety an overall good color contrast.  Walkers Low Catmint is similar in size and color to Russian Sage.  Though Walkers Low Catmint does not get as tall as Russian Sage, the flower and foliage color is similar.  The stem, foliage and flower structures are similar in the two varieties as well.

This plant is suited well in border installations or as a stand-alone plant.  Catmint releases a distinctive and fragrant scent.  The perennial is deer resistant.
